Software engineering is the process of producing software that is good, reliable, and efficient in terms of cost, time and energy. This software development cycle includes 6 steps i.e. requirement, feasibility study, system analysis, designing, coding, testing and maintenance. There are various models like waterfall, v model, big band model, iterative etc. Software are now day’s used in almost every field from household items to flight management system at airports. That is why software engineering is used to produce software to perfection because a little mistake will take thousands of lives.
