Abstract

This article represents an attempt to break down the concept of trust in its constituent parts. In an effort to reorganize the theory of trust, in a powerful and practical way for joint management of natural resources. We describe four forms of belief and collaborative natural resource management: a) trust dispositional, b) rational belief, c) affinitive faith, and d) procedural faith. By describing the various forms of belief, ancestors and their potential consequences for the joint management of natural resources, we aim to provide a useful lesson and stable framework for use by researchers and practitioners in human dimensions of management natural resources.
