Abstract
This research work presents influence of process parameters on surface roughness and material removal rate (MRR) while wire electrical discharge machining of titanium grade 5(Ti-6Al-4V). Experiments have been conducted with six process parameters viz., pulse on time, pulse off time, servo voltage, peak current, wire feed rate and wire tension. Taguchi’s orthogonal array (L27) was employed for experimental investigation. ANOVA analysis was used to determine most significant factors affecting the machining performance.
