Abstract
In this paper, a theoretical analysis of steady laminar fully developed flow and heat transfer of two immiscible Magnetohydrodynamic and viscous fluids through a horizontal channel taking into an account the effect of viscous and Joule dissipation is presented. The flow below the interface is assumed to be electrically conducting while the other fluid and the channel walls are electrically insulating. The channel walls are maintained at two different and constant temperatures. Partial differential equations governing the flow and heat transfer are transformed to ordinary differential equations and are solved exactly for both the region. The variation of velocity and temperature profiles with respect to various parameters such as Magnetic field parameter, Prandtl number, Eckert number, ratios of viscosity and thermal conductivity are depicted graphically.
